NKOTBSB

Over the summer, I went to go see my favorite band ever, The Backstreet Boys,  perform live at the American Airlines center with the New Kids on the Block. It would be an hour long drive to American Airlines, but it would be worth it in the end.
When my cousin, a friend, aunt, and I arrived to the AA's I was surprised at it's size. It was much larger than I thought. If you don't know the American Airlines Center is one large basketball court surrounded by a long hallway. My cousin, aunt, and I walked around the long, circular hallway until we found the entrance we could go into. We had actually walked all the way around it 3 times before we found it.
The inside was also much larger than I imagined, but we found our seats and waited for the magic to begin. While we waited I got a chance to look at the stage, it was a long catwalk sort of thing with two much smaller walkways on one side. (the side we were on).
Before I knew it the lights went down and the show began, but to my surprise it wasn't NKOTBSB! It was some girl that I haven't even heard of, so I was listened I wandered , "When are the Backstreet Boys coming on?" and "How long is this going to last?" But I made sure to enjoy myself and wait. Luckily she was only on for a few songs and NKOTBSB would come on shortly after.
Backstreet Boys
When they did finally come on, they came on in smoke, and lights. Right away I picked out the Backstreet Boys, who performed "The Call", which was accompanied by flames that felt like they were scorching my face. It was spectacular, they took turns singing their songs and running up and down the stage. All the time I couldn't help singing along, yelling, and trying not to let the girl with the Mexican flag get in my way, and my cousins way.
At the middle they each performed a love song, the Backstreet Boys performed "I'll Never Break Your Heart," bringing a girl each up on stage and courting them to defiantly the most romantic song in the world, afterwards giving them a rose. What I wouldn't have given to be one of those girls.
Howie (Backstreet Boys)
They performed many songs such as, "I Want it That Way", "Step by Step", and "Quit Playing Games." They ended it with their newest song, "Don't turn out the lights" starring all of them. By the end I was totally pumped and defiantly didn't want to go home.
On the way out I realized that I couldn't really hear anything, my feet hurt, and I was extremely tired. Things I didn't know until after the concert was over. Back in the car My cousin, Aunt, and I listened to the Backstreet Boys all the way home. Guess even after 3 hours worth of the, I still didn't have enough; but I did have a new T-Shirt and an experience I'll remember for the rest of my life.
